We are not charging the companies anything. It has been a big problem trying to get in touch with all the companies because so many people are busy or not there. A friend of mine told me that I did not really need their permission to add them into my directory I just need to provide a way that they can opt out of the directory and let them know that I was adding them into it with a few weeks for them to consider opting out before doing so. i mean google or yahoo dosn’t ask permission to add a site to their search. Is This The Case? Thanks.

You don’t need permission, but you need to have the opt out clause.
